A sudden impulse to eat dinner at the pub rather than a local restaurant was rewarded with a great meal and friendly helpful service. Pub style, you order and pay at the counter and then hop over to the bar for drinks which isn’t always my style but on this particular Sunday night it worked well for me. Great steak and from what I saw the lamb curry was excellent too. The staff were great. They even had a couple of local (Timboon) whiskeys at the bar and one of the wait staff who knew rather a lot about them.If you are in Port Campbell you should swing by the pub for a great meal – or if not to eat at least sample the Timboon Whiskeys! Oh and I’d be giving them 4.5 if Zomato would let me select something between 4 and 5!
Was trying to decide what to have and seems like most other places around here charge an arm and a leg. This place offers 2 course lunch specials at less than $20. Portions are good and the squid tasted fresh. This place is a good one in Port Campbell.
Lovely place. Food is good and priced very reasonably. Highly recommend for everyone drops by Port Campbell. Quality like this is even hard to find in Melbourne.
this is a really a nice place and food is good, and the service is also good. as a foreigner, we love their food, which is amazing for us. we recommend them.
Was looking for Craypot Bistro, it’s within the hotel. We arrived at 14.15 and the kitchen closes at 14.30, lucky we made it otherwise would be regret to miss the lovely dishes. Beef Cheek was amazing, soft and tender. Rice under Garlic Prawn was flavoured with the garlic sauce, we couldnt resist to finish it all. By comparison with the other 2, flathead fish & chips was mediocre.
