On our way through the city, this was a wild card which turned out to be one of the best cafes I’ve ever been to. Their egg and bacon roll was extremely fresh and yum! The mesmerizing view from the cafe doesn’t hurt either. A sure shot recommendation for people in the area.

We came here for the fish and chips, but the chips smells weird, maybe bad/dirty oil, it just doesnt taste fresh. Portion is small and pricey (over priced). Waited 35 mins for the food.Would go somewhere else if you are in hurry and if you are after a better dining experience. Calamari and pizza taste good.

The setting for Charlie’s can’t be beaten. Situated on the foreshore with panoramic views of the beach it’s a 5 star location but still informal and inexpensive so hard to beat. Great kids menu. Partner had the chowder which was given a thumbs up and I stayed old school with fish and chips which were great.

Staff: honest, informative, very busy restaurant for few staff but they’re quick considering. Food: I ordered the vego breakfast. I wasn’t a fan of the bread, fairly average. I would have paid extra for sour dough however the eggs were cooked very well! Very creamy and the ingredients tasted fresh. Atmosphere: overlooks the ocean, could be decorated with more attention to detail and with less basic features and utensils but nothing can beat that view.

Not impressed. An $80 experience that I would have felt over charged at half the price. They did a ‘homemade’ lemonade that was nothing more than flat cheap lemon squash with some mint leaves and a slice of lemon in it. The food was very average. There’s no way I would recommend this cafe. The view is good but you don’t have to go into the cafe to experience that.
