Nice cafe with friendly staff, tasty food and good coffee. We ordered the specials for the week, a chicken burger and chicken and veg pie. Both were delish, perhaps the pie was a little under seasoned but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn’t fix.

Rebecca’s Cafe is full of warmth and a charm that’s irresistible. The moment you enter the cafe, you would be delighted with its coziness (although it has good enough seating capacity). Its the decor, with retro props, that make the place look loveable! We were there for a breakfast. I ordered home-made granola which was delicious as well as beautifully served. The coffee was amazing too!The staff is polite and the service is fast. Even though it was crowded when we reached there, there was no delay in the service, or even in getting a table for us. I simply loved the place, and I believe it is a good complement to a place like Port Fairy! Will definitely be visiting again, whenever I am next in Port Fairy.

My score 3.5 stars.  We lived near Warrnambool for 9 months over last spring/summer/autumn & had a light lunch here twice during the warmer weather.  J & I sat at the outside seats on the footpath, not too many tables free & inside was quite full too.  Outside is nicer, but you do get the odd whiff of ciggie smoke from a passer-by (cough cough).  I think R’s is probably rated higher for its brunches & sweets more than anything else, but we decided on sharing a Chef’s Taste Plate both times.  It consisted of > Turkish bread/Olives/Duck Paté/Cheddar cheese/Beetroot dip/Caramelised shallots/Rocket salad.  Paté was good/olives, salad & cheese nice/shallots delicious.  Bread was yummy, but there wasn’t enough!  Dip was ok, but let down by having too much cumin in it – it was overpowering & out of balance IMO.  We do one using a recipe we got from SBS’s Turkish food Safari – it’s great, really easy & no cumin in sight!  Overall the ambience was good, as was the food we chose, but most items on the menu didn’t appeal to us.  PS.  One summery night after we’d eaten at Coffin Sally’s, we rocked up to Rebecca’s Ice-creamery (next door to the café) & shared a nice waffle-cone ice cream to top the night off.
