Rude owner… I was having coffee. Before ordering I have asked the staff previously, whether they still do coffee as I will only having coffee and no dinner and the staff said yes, please sit down..
As I enjoy my coffee the owner come out to the table and complain about me not having dinner and only coffee.. first time I just ignore him. However, when I about to pay the owner who now stand near the cashier complaining again about me for only have coffee and no food.
I was speechless, how can an owner of a restaurant so rude to the customer who pay them money. So I decide to seal my mouth which I regret. I should have confront his inappropriate behaviour.
So if you thinking to come there, think twice! And REMEMBER TO ORDER FOOD, its compulsory there to get good service!

Most amazing Greek restaurant in Melbourne! Loved the vibe. The staff and chef were extremely accommodating and the service was great. Thank you for the memorable experience!
The worst service Ive ever had. One man came over and told us we were a fire hazard. Next a women severed the table next to us, when she passed us I asked if I could request an order from her as I thought the fire hazard guy was our waiter. She snapped and said yes you can order but not when I have other peoples drinks in my hand. We got our drinks. They were okay. But not worth the hassle. 😛
Been here quite a few times and I never get bored of this place. When I came here for the first time, despite all the akwardness with Greek cuisines, the staffs guided us through the whole menu and gave us very nice recommendation. The service was super attentive, nice and lovely. In my first visit, the guy was a trainee so he was a little bit nervous taking orders and serving but he did a marvelous service that night.
I always have grilled barramundi and meat platter whenever I come with my family or a group of friends. Food is not really special but it’s good. Everything is well-seasonsed. Sometimes the meat is a little bit overcooked and dry but the service saved the night. It’s just next to my house so it’s a go-to place whenever I craved for Greek food.
Enjoyed an excellent meal in this cozy setting with a great view of the world drifting by.
Attentive and very accommodating service by friendly staff, with just the right level of hands off so we didn’t feel rushed.
The espresso martinis were an excellent start to the evening. We had a trio of dips, followed by a perfectly sized banquet for mains – enough to be more than satisfying, but with enough room left over for dessert and delicious coffee.
I would happily recommend Abstract 157.
Excellent service. Pleasant ambience. Very nice food. Nice wine. An enjoyable meal as agreed by all four of us. An average variety of Mediterranean foods.
What a great find! This restaurant is real value for money. The food we all ordered was tasty and generous. The only negative thing I have to say is the Baramundi was farmed and the texture was not great.The deserts were amazing. We will be back.
