Clearly the best middle eastern food I have had in Melbourne.The falafel balls are very soft and delicious.The dessert – bread and butter pudding with chocolate and cinnamon was fantastic.Service is casual and very friendly.
Tasty middle eastern food! Whilst you may have to wait on Saturday night for a table, the food is worth it. As a group we got a variety of entrees to share and they were all delicious. The main, lamb shawarma was however average – it was more like pulled beef. Overall a good meal.
I went with a big group of friends for dinner during the weeks. We ordered a banquet style menu so were fortunate enough to taste a large variety of Balagan’s Dishes. The flavour of the food was awesome and the food was fresh and interesting. Excellent service and fun atmosphere though perhaps a little noisy as the restaurant packed out. Will definitely be back!
NOT BAD JUST BORING!!! The service was great and the people were lovely but just nothing I ate had any flavour. I’ve had Israeli food many times, where were the herbs and spices??? FLAT
