Was excited to come try Bistro Morgan with the high rating. Since I’ve been to Melbourne I’ve seem to have developed a love for donuts. Service was great. Loved the decor. The idea of a sauce filled syringe is a cute idea as you can control the amount you want either on top of the donut or injecting it inside.
I was happy to see they had a Golden Gaytime themed donut, but it didnt necessarily remind me of a golden gaytime, which a little disappointing. That being said, the donut was still light and fluffy even though I got it just half hour before they were closing. The chocolate coating on top with a honeycomb crumble was good and quite chocolatey in flavour, but I wouldnt say it was anything too out of the ordinary. The caramel sauce that came with it definitely completed the donut, as I thought without it the dessert felt like it was missing something.
Overall I would love to come back and perhaps try their other flavours that didnt involve a syringe. I give it 3 stars as the donut itself was airy and not oily as a good donut should be.

Friendly service. Well lit relaxing and cosy space. Great display of colourful doughnuts. Super delicious cake batter filling inside the Cookie Monster doughnut.

The minute you walk in, youre greeted with the most magnificent looking array of doughnuts and its such a cute place!
Im not usually a doughnut person but Bistro Morgans doughnuts are too irresistible.
Morgan is such a sweetheart and if youre ever lucky enough to get the cookie butter caramel doughnut, do not miss the chance to pick it up!
The doughnut is so soft and the cookie butter filling is probably one of the best things Ive ever eaten!
If youre on a diet get ready to break it because no amount of willpower will ever be able to make you not want one of em!
Love Bistro Morgan donuts – had them at a menu launch and they were delicious, so ordered them for my partner’s 30th as part of my DIY donut wall. Everyone loved them! I love that they use white chocolate instead of traditional icing/frosting and the donuts themselves have a very unique flavour. Morgan and his team run a very tight ship and it is great to see a young business thrive 🙂

Been wanting to try Bistro Morgan for ages but never got around to it. But to my pleasant surprise, their doughnuts are now available at my local yo-chi.
Now, Im a fan of simplicity – and these doughnuts are pretty full on. But I have to say, I did really like the one I had. Definitely on the pricey side, but eh. Treat yoself.
