Have been to CL several times – mostly for drinks on the weekend. It is often pretty packed – especially in the beer garden which over time has been revamped. I really like the space in the summertime (but so does everyone else!) I’d suggest get in early to sneak a table! I don’t know how much I like the inside, I don’t find the restaurant portion very atmospheric and am not to keep on the live band which I find gets quite loud and its hard to have any conversations (this is just my personal preference). I haven’t had food here yet but have heard that it’s pretty food for pub fare.

    Will be back.

I am only giving this a three because of the lovely staff and the great atmosphere it served on AFL finals weekend 2018.

Other than that, I would have given it a one due to the food. The nibbles and smaller share bites are decent from what I saw, but my main was extremely poor. I ordered the Chicken Salad, and for $23 I could have made it ten times better (plus leftovers).

It was just simple chicken breast atop iceberg lettuce, and the usual fixings (carrot, onion, tomato). They forgot to put in the corn and I got only about three cubes of feta cheese. And the dressing was just reaching average.

I am not one for giant meals either, but I feel that for the price it was extremely small and I was left hungry afterwards. It was honestly a joke how simple this was for the price they charge.

Not sure I will recommend or return.
