A typical Chinese Restaurant and since i was a bit early there were no guests on board however the people were coming to catch up for home parcel in a doggie bag.
Anyways i called for a Chicken Dumpling 6 Nos, and after a wait of 20 minutes i thought the standard Chinese green tea is always there to flavour your taste buds and keep you filled, which was not part of the staple servings.
13.6$ for regular water and 6 nos of Dumplings, high on price and low on quality, they were hot and steamy , but i could find all soughts of meat and chicken mix, so 3 of the dumplings were a mix of Prawns and Chicken, and 1 was pork was stale and looked like an old dumpling remade, and rest could be chicken…
since i was ultra hungry i ate whatever i could and since the coating was too much and not well cooked, i left most of the coating at the table, soy sauce of just another soy not as mild and authentic.
well friends i wouldn’t recommend the place… stop jungle stop
One of the expensive dimsum I had so far. Three dumplings for $8, taste was okay but skin fell off before I putting into my spoon. Cheong fun was thick and not the smooth and silky texture I’m looking for. Great service though, downside is there is no price list for yumcha menu. Total bill $16 for two dishes, surprisingly.

Fair, stock standard, kinda westernised Chinese food. Quality was good just not super interesting. Usual beef black bean type thing but a bit more expensive than you would get in the burbs. Take your grandma her for a Chinese meal out.
It’s so nice to find a restaurant which is so consistent with the quality of their food. Always fresh, always delicious. Great service too.
The best, freshest Chinese in the hood. Dumplings and filleted fish are next level. Service is bang on… food is exceptional. BYO too Coming back very soon!! Excited!
Every time I come here we have the wok fried noodles with chicken. My mouth is watering just thinking of it – making me hungry again! One thing I like about Asian restaurants is that they always use the thigh or leg part of the chicken, which is much juicier (not dry like how the breast part can get) and has that special chicken flavour.
We tried the char kueh tiaw tonight. It came with some small prawns and meat – it was nice enough, but it was spicy, which wasn’t my favourite way to have this dish.
The portions here at Good Luck are quite generous – on all occasions we were here, we had been positively ravenous, and still were unable to finish the dishes.
An amazing place with fast and friendly service. I had the beef omelette which I can not recommend highly enough, the best I’ve had in Melbourne.
