I think this place is slightly overrated. The ramen Ive tried was not bad but nothing special for the price it charged. The fried eggplant was a let down, overly sweet miso sauce and undercooked huge chunks of eggplant puts me off even though Im a bit eggplant fan.
The food is not bad. The minced chicken yakitori is the best food i ordered. Others are quite healthy, aka plain. The udon soup taste good but just the noodle is overcooked. The chawanmushi ingredients were sufficient and succulent, just a little on the plain side. The gyu appetiser was a bit salty. The tempura California roll was tasty and juicy with lots of sauce. Overall not bad, typical Japanese food, priced a little pricey.
