Came to this local pub to support the Parma for a Farmer initiative, and boy am I glad I chose the Prahran Hotel because the Parma’s here are on point! The crumbed chicken is so crunchy and went perfectly well with the delicious napoli sauce as well as the thick cut chips. I also appreciated that the side salad was not drowning in dressing as many pub salads are. In fact I don’t think it was dressed at all, which is the way I like it. Great place for a local drink and pub meal!

Good food, great choices of craft beer. Terrible customer service as always. Tables are always dirty and sticky, staff doesn’t clean the tables.

Ive previously dined at the Prahran hotel of a Saturday night and love the sleek modern venue. What was once a typical pub has long ago been transformed into quite the stunning spot whilst maintaining classic pub fare at reasonable prices. Tonight we were invited to a private function in the upstairs space and enjoyed some crisp sauv blanc and boutique beers. I would thoroughly recommend this for an event as it has an excellent location, fabulous interior and great food and drink

Don’t let the unassuming exterior deter you! This hotel has great food, and the interior is very cool (the only complaint would be that the lighting is too dark and can be a little cold in some places).

I ordered the Spiced Cauliflower dish and would happily eat it again. The cauliflower was roasted just nicely (crunchy on the outside but firm yet soft on the inside), and the cous cous salad with walnuts underneath was divine. Coupled with the yoghurt sauce as the base, it was an extremely flavourful dish.

Our table also ordered the green beans with chilli and parmesan; and was a lovely addition. It’s a good size as a side dish and just added that extra veggie accompaniment to the table.

One friend ordered the burger with chips and said it was nice, while the other friend had the gravlax salad. She said the salad was nice, and it certainly looked pretty; however I don’t think she was enamoured with it overall.

The staff are happy and polite, so I would definitely recommend and return here.

As far as pubs go, Prahran Hotel is one of the best in terms of the interior design, space and menu.
I really like the large booths against the windows that have a circular timber frame design.
There are also a variety of levels and function rooms available with terraces.

I came here on a Saturday evening for an early dinner, and as expected, there were rowdy groups having drinks, but I took sanctuary at a dining booth upstairs.

Salted Cod Croquettes nice crumb and crispy, the taste reminded me of fish fingers, rather than a funky salted cod.

Fish & Chips a couple excellent pieces of fish with a crispy batter, the fish inside was firm, juicy, thick and flaky. Nice touch with the caramelised grilled lemon which just gushed juice. The chips just passed as crispy, but didnt really make me go back for more. Love the hint of dill in the tartare sauce.

Pork Chop the large pork chop was nicely crumbed, but there were sections of the chop that were a little dry as it naturally is when lean pork is overcooked. Although the salsa verde and broadbeans really provide an extra kick of flavour.

The Prahran Hotel is still a great place to have drinks with a group of friends, purely due to the location, people and vibes.
