Located next to Kmart , run by Korean i believed. Coffees is great , as a dairy free coffee lover i always have almond milk as alternation , many coffee shops didn’t froth the milk probably hence my almond mocha always flat however Cafe cherry beans have the most creamy almond mocha with dark chocolate i ever tasted. 10/10 .love the options to choose which chocolate u wanna go with ur mocha. Foods was average a bit greasy for my liking 5/10.
Apparently the trend in the food industry is higher end outlets in shopping malls – this place however is not part of that trend. Disinterested staff, kitchen turned off 2 hours before close of business, average coffee (not bothering to wipe the filter basket between shots), staff having a toothbrush in plain view, stashed shopping trolleys in the seating area – not a good look. Had an overly sweet macaroon as the menu is centred around sandwiches and chips at airport prices! This would be a good place to start ‘Undercover Boss’
A nice addition to Northland. Its located away from the food court so its convenient when youre shopping and you feel a need for a coffee and a bite to eat, you dont have to walk through half the centre to get to some food!
The coffee is awesome here.
The food is also excellent and is served extremely quickly to you which is great when youre starving!
After being out and about for my walk, I wanted poached eggs on toast.
Not knowing Northland shopping centre, I wandered through the food court and then came upon this cafe.
I have been to the one in Eastland so figured it would be similar.
The coffee was good and strong. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly (still runny!!) on 2 pieces of sourdough bread. I dont like my toast pre-buttered and I like the fact that they give you butter on the side.
Staff were friendly and the service was quick.
Food is fine, coffee is fine, service is minimal. A coffee house is not the place to swan around, looking disinterested – customers deserve more.
It’s wonderful to have a break in Northland. Coffee is quite good. u can select different cooking methods for the eggs. It’s amazing to have rest after walking around NSC, i would like to visit there again n again!!!
Food was great. Pretty good cafe around Northland, actually! I’d say it stands out from coffee club or groove train. The waffles were so delicious. Just a bit slow on the drinks. Looking forward to coming back.
