Came here for a desperately needed coffee during shopping. It hit the spot. Service was friendly and efficient, despite being very busy. I have yet to try the food but it was full of people eating.

My wife was on a shopping expedition and I was tricked into coming along for just a few small things. Pleased to escape for a bit to this cafe which was a little flasher than the dire food court shops at Northland. I ordered a small Belgium hot chocolate and a smarties cookie (because Im about three). The hot chocolate took an awe fully long time to arrive and eventually I was asked what I was waiting for. I eventually got my hot choc and they upsized it for the extra wait which was appreciated.

Modern addition to Northland which is welcomed, but customer service could require some work. Anyhow, the coffee is extremely good, quality dropped off but has just improved. But when it comes to food, I feel prices are high and original portion sizes have shrunk. However the prices have not followed suit.

This scenario does disapoint me and I think is a bad move considering the competition in the area. Customers want quality fresh, modern food at competive pricing and you must provide some value for their loyalty. If this balance is not addressed patrons will not return. Dont rip customers with airport prices and eastern suburbs pretension. The north is blessed with quality choices.
It is local for me and the coffee is ths drawcard for Preston.
Time will tell for how long more I will continue being a customer.
