Having previously visited Northcote Stn I was curious to check out its sister cafe North Stn located within Northland Shopping Centre.
We ordered the southern fried chicken burger and the poke bowl with cured salmon and an added poached egg and were not disappointed. Both dishes came out beautifully presented although the poke bowl stood out with its array of colour. The fried chicken in the burger was moist and tender and worked well with all the ingredients in the burger.
To drink I couldnt go past the Peanutella. Having discovered this amazing peanut butter Nutella hybrid at Workshop Bros Glen Waverly last year I always jump at the chance to order this.
North Stn is a great addition to Northland shopping centre. I love that cafes such as Axil at Chadstone and Rustica at Melbourne Central are expanding into shopping centres and providing an alternative to food court fast food. Overall I was pleased with North Stn and rate it out of 5.
