The dough on the dumplings is too thick and the flavours are bland. The only saving grace for this place is that the noodles are decent. To make this place more impressive the food takes an eternity to arrive.
Ive been here several times and its always been consistent.
Dumplings – love the handmade dumplings here. Theres a thicker skin than most will be used to but its well fried and crispy all over (see photo).
Noodles – handmade noodles here are also pretty good.
If you get a soup noodle then expect a clean, light broth.
I would stay away from the fried noodles unless youre a big lover of bean sprouts.
My personal favourite for noodles are the zha jiang noodles (pork mince with noodles – dry).
I also enjoy the spring onion pancakes, beautifully crispy!
