Really really really good vegan pizza and shakes. Have been several times now, my favourite is the Cherry Bliss pizza but the other options have been great too. Oreo shake is delicious! Highly recommended vegan take out and the service there is great 🙂
I was in the mood for pizza last night and GOOD vegan pizza is so hard to come by – until now!
I ordered the sausage pizza and an Oreo shake. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the cheese they use is so super yummy, cheesy and melty The sausage was really good!
The shake was much better than I expected too!
I thought it was good value for money (the medium was a large in my eyes) and Im glad to see there are heaps of Vegan options including desert.
It was a little annoying I couldnt add extras to my pizza but that may be something to do with how it is set up on menu log. Delivery was on time but the driver got lost so my pizza was luke warm but no biggie.
Will order again.
Omg. Just omg. Everything we ordered was delicious. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in my life. We got the vegan cherry bliss and sizzling sausage pizzas, garlic bread and pecan pretzel shakes, and they gave us vegan Nutella calzone for free!! it was AMAZING I’ve never even had any kid of calzone before. The people there are mega lovely, great service. GET ON IT. Why does this place have such low rating I don’t understand?!! They truly deserve 5 stars.
We took the punt on a bunch of recommendations for take away and it was fine. It was good value in terms of size of pizza and cost. We had a vegetarian pizza with pineapple (5 year old current prerequisite) and a prawn delight pizza for grown ups which we probably wouldnt order again. We added tobasco and chili flakes to give it some oomph. We also had vegans at our table and they were happy with their fake sausage pizza and garlic bread.
The delivery was prompt on a Friday night-which was appreciated.
This was a kid pleaser pizza and we would order again.
We ordered from Plain Jane after it was recommended by friends and it was so bad we ended up getting Dominos instead of finishing any of the four pizzas we ordered. Im really struggling to understand how this store has good ratings considering the price and subpar quality of food.
The pizzas we ordered were Margarita, Hawaiian, BBQ Chicken and Pocket Rocket. The worst of the lot was the Pocket Rocket, which was cold and weirdly both overcooked and undercooked. The other 3 were average and reminiscent of cheap pizzas from the frozen food section at Woolies. Extremely disappointing experience.
I am genuinely perplexed by the amount of overwhelmingly positive reviews on other websites about this new place. In a little precinct with two other quality pizza joints Plain Jane is bottom of the heap I’m afraid. Let’s talk quality of ingredients: mass-market shredded ham, rubbery cheese and cheap olives. Pizza bases are the equivalent of supermarket white bread – absolutely tasteless and the menu is uninspiring. It all reminds me of the kind of pizza available twenty to thirty years ago, loaded with tasteless salty toppings. We were so thirsty for hours afterward! The gelato and shakes menu is intriguing but based on the quality of the pizzas we won’t be trying anything else from there in a hurry. I’m imagining more mass market overly sweet syrups and home brand ice cream. I’d be happy to be proven wrong though… All in all, a highly disappointing experience and I’d be surprised if this business lasted long given the competition in the area.
Really good takeaway pizza. They’ve even got the bases just right (for my taste, at least). There’s even a solid vegetarian pizza, which really shouldn’t be such a welcome surprise, but it is!
