I was interested in trying this Japanese sushi place at Preston Markets as I’d been past this but I hadn’t stopped. So I called in and tried a chicken spring roll here and it was delicious and reasonably priced. And then I had an omniyaki Japanese vegetarian pancake which was also really tasty and full of veggies. The mayonnaise was a bit sweet and probably a bit too much for me, but overall this place was really good value. Definitely worth a visit if your at the markets.

Good little snack bar in the heart of Preston Market. Fresh and good quality sushi but limited variety. Their gyoza are quite tasty. I have been a regular customer here since they first opened and have never been disappointed. Good value.

As part of Bupa’s best blog competition for 2015 This place is inside the Preston Market where the deli is. They are only opened when the market is. Here they are run by the Chinese. In my theory they cannot do any Japanese sushi well. There were mainly Caucasians coming for the healthy lunch. They are cash only and most things were under $10. I was easily full for a mere $9.40 which included two vegetarian rolls and one okomiyaki.  The okomiyaki is just like what my mum makes at home, but the sushi were just bad. At $2.50 per roll it was just dry and holey. In the inari the rice fell out everywhere. But the Coffee stop, just a few doors down, did lovely sweets which I enjoyed. I had five sweet biscuits and they were all good. I took them home by the way to enjoy. All for the mere price of $3. I can’t wait to see what else Preston market has to offer us all.
