A great place to come for brunch in the South Preston area. Inside, the cafe has an spacious and industrial feel. The staff are prompt and pleasant and the service was generally quite good.
The Spindle (chilli scrambled eggs) was delicious, well seasoned and a good portion size. The Benedict was equally good and clearly made with fresh, quality produce.
Coffees were brewed well and all meals came promptly.
Overall, a great brunch place which I will happily return to in the future. One of the better choices in this area.

The food is also delicious making this place well worth a visit (and a courtyard at the front which is dog friendly).
So the food- we tried the beef burger which was big and juicy and the potato hash. Both really good.

The long black was not bitter at all and the almond lattes were smooth.
I highly recommend this venue and would return in the future! Thank you for the lovely brunch!
Bit of a mixed review of this one. Enjoyed the sevice. Staff very attentive. Was told they wouldn’t take the goats cheese off one of their dishes even though i was intolerant to dairy so i had to change my dish. However the dish i ended up with was still really delicious. Would go back
I honestly want to like this place but the food here needs a lot of improving. Vegetable Lasagne is soft over cooked potato sheets with eggplants for the princely sum of $20+. No sides nothing. Service staff seem more interested in dancing around to the music and chatting and laughing than worrying about the customers- no wonder its 70% empty at lunch. I really hope they improve.
