About my fifth home delivery order – and every time it’s been simply excellent . I’ve been eating Indian and Nepalese for decades now, and this is one of the better ones.
Their momo’s are a cut above the usual in quality and texture, with generous amounts of that piquant tomato/red pepper sauce (and with the goat meat momo’s you get a goat broth which works very well with the dumplings), the samosa’s fine rather than coarse the tandoori platter is also excellent and plentiful – excellent value and the salad and vegetables fresh and lots of them.
They do an excellent tandoori anything (much better than average).
All the main courses, meat and vegetarian – and I’ve pretty well had a go at all they offer by now – have been lovingly crafted and put together, and with generous portions and the spices beautifully blended and matched ; their biryanis are heavenly, and the pickles and chutneys fresh, pungent and tasty.
All their goat dishes are interesting and tastily different to what you might expect.
Food is always large portioned, tasty, and hot on arrival – breads have been fresh, hot and just as they ought to be.
And thus far, delivery has been pretty quick.
Really (really) good and I wish them well and hope more folks discover them, they are in my top 5 home delivery food places
So this was my first time ordering from this restaurant. So I placed an order through menulog and ordered butter chicken, 2x naans, momos and chicken chow mein. The order came fairly quick but the food was horrible in general. The naan was undercooked and burnt in the middle, the butter chicken tasted bitter and sour- it just tasted like tomatoe paste and tandoori chicken mixed together. Dont get me started on the chicken chow mein, it was full of tomatoe sauce and soy sauce and was very salty. The momos were really good and that was it, we called the manager and he said that he wont refund us but will send us the replacement. We told him that we do not want a replacement but want our refund, he refused! Never ordering from them again! Save your money and go somewhere else.
The coffee was fantastic! The breakfast was beautiful, just the sourdough toast was dry…toasted the perfect amount but it was probably just dry to begin with! I will absolutely be back though! I did tell them about my toast though…to be fair! Great restaurant!
