Been here a coupla times, to be honest not really sure why I keep returning. The coffee n cakes are nice but the staff really don’t wanna be here which really shows and resonates from end to end. This is a real shame as the rear courtyard and location are ideal 🙁
Long wait for takeaway coffee. Very inefficient service. And in the end our order had been taken incorrectly, we were given the wrong size coffees, and the coffee itself was average.
Very average. Half the breakfast options were not available and they refused to make any menu alterations. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend.
Poor coffee. Overheated milk, burnt bitter coffee, bad experience
What is happening. This gorgeous place is one of our favourites but today was a disaster. Where were the usual friendly caring staff. A couple of disinterested females no welcoming smile nothing. Our table outside was cluttered with dishes as was the one next to us and the one under the umbrella. After half an hour during that time a waitress had served three tables and didn’t look in our direction. We finally moved the used dishes to the next table and waited and waited . After 45 minutes our pots of tea arrived and the muffin. 45 for the simplest of offerings. Not one word of apology not one word of explanation. A couple arrived and within ten minutes of giving their order they had their cooked meals served.
What is going on ? A beautiful place left us feeling very sad.
Love it. We love this cafe. As locals of Queenscliff we go here every Saturday morning for breakfast. Food is always divine and staff lovely. Our fav place in town!
