When we arrived the staff kindly made room for us on a busy night, which was nice, BUT I don’t recommend going on a busy night. We weren’t given water, cutlery or the basket of prawn crackers that other tables were given. Nobody came to take our order. We had to ask to order everything at once because it took so long to get attention. Then we had to ask again for absolutely everything – the food came without bowls or cutlery and part of our order was missing. Then, when we ordered dessert, the deep fried icecream was clearly just taken out of the freezer and not heated (isn’t that the point?!), and there was a miscommunication about the other dessert order. Having said all this, some dishes were really quite delicious – it was good to experience the old-fashioned type of Chinese takeaway that I haven’t tasted since the late eighties.
