Fabulous night out. Had an absolute ball on the Blues Train. Food was simple but tasty, drinks were well priced with a good range and the REAL treat, the music, certainly lived up to the hype with performances by well seasoned blues artists including Sweet Felicia, Mojo Corner and Zevon making it a night to remember.
The train has enough seating and dance space to be enjoyed by those who want to rock on all night or simply sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Bellarine Peninsula while bopping along to the quality music aboard the train.
The Blues Train staff were fun, helpful and incredibly efficient.
This is an attraction to be enjoyed by anyone who loves a good time!
I will definitely be going back and recommending it as a unique way to spend a night out with friends, celebrate a milestone or even a work break up.
Food was garbage, staff were rude and looked like prison wardens, music was too loud, carriages were falling apart, drinks were overpriced. You would have to have been to drunk to enjoy this horrible night. Complete waste if ninety five dollars each
Great Night Out!. A great night out and a great experience to boot. Unpretentious, great vibe & atmosphere – if you cant have a good time on the blues train you cant have a good time anywhere.
Move to the Music… I have done the Blues Train for the last 12 years and seen it become so popular you now need to book months in advance, it is a fantastic night with a great atmosphere, and wonderful music it’s always great to hear unknown musicians, great to get a group together , or just a couple, it is a progressive party, the food is reasonable and fresh, I have taken 100’s with me over the years and always have the comment we want to go again…. Try it you won’t be disappointed. A night to remember .
Oh, what a night!. What an amazing experience. I went on with my boyfriend and some friends and had a ball!
The experience isn’t about the food, it’s more about the entertainment and when you’re up for a night of dancing and great times, the meal was perfect for the situation.
The catering staff were amazing, a couple of my friends were vegetarians and were more than looked after, frankly we didn’t go on looking for a five-star meal – beef and chicken with some salads is all we needed!
Would certainly recommend – just don’t pin your entire night on the food – that’s not what it’s about – pack your dancing shoes instead!
You go for the experience. The food is delicious – we’ve been a few times & it’s great that there is what seems to be a summer & winter menu, served on crockery with ‘proper’ knives & forks. There’s a good selection of condiments as well. Drinks are reasonably priced. The main appeal is the way it all comes together – the atmosphere of an old train, the music on each of the four carriages and the summertime scenery around the bay. Truly memorable, we’ll be back!
Absolute garbage! Feral staff crew that treat you as though you are back at school. Horrible food. A train that is falling to pieces, with rainwater dripping all over you. Very bad vibe and a complete rip off.
