Absolutely the best!!!! Flake $8-50 each was deliciously yummy with a crisp light crunchy batter. The potato cakes $1-50 each were the best I have had in years. Don’t forget to try the ‘pumpkin cake’ …. again a real winner. 10/10 for this place.
Best fish and chip shop in town by far. Over the summer season, you need to be prepared to order in store and wait. Love the pumpkin cakes. Fish is always beautifully cooked, and chips are pretty damn close to perfect!
We know the fish and chips are great but they dont answer their phone so we are unable to order. 50 times called this evening and at least 20 times the phone rang out!
So bad. Worst fish & chips we’ve ever had. Supposed to be voted the best! Yeah right. It was all under cooked with dirty old oil. Revolting.

Unbelievable grilled flake, so moist and such good flavours. Service is hard to judge because it is a takeaway joint but is still very good and always greet you kindly. The only down side is the chips, could use a bit of work as I often find them not crunchy and a bit underdone
Fish and chips served without much charm. What else can I say apart from too much batter on fish that is too thin. I won’t bother going there again.
