The best thing about Noble House is that you don’t need the Doc’s Delorian to get there. Classic example of country Chinese food with the omnipresent corn flour ‘snot glaze’ so reminiscent of the early 90’s.
Highlight is the deep fried ice cream.
Low light is the other food.
This place seriously needs to invest in a BBQ grill and a modern Chef and/or Manager.
I rate it as 2 wontons
Probably won’t be back in a hurry. Although the food is always tasty and the staff some what friendly(depends on their mood) the quality and consistency seems to very alot from visits and the price seems to increase every time.
Went for my mums birthday dinner, they really couldn’t have cared less. The service was appalling , the wait staff couldn’t crack a smile. Food took so long to come out including my young sons order . His took so long , that we had all eaten. My husband and I each had a plate put in front of us , his had an old wet paper napkin on his , and mine had Greasey bok choy bits on mine. We we asked for other plates to be given to us, it seemed too much effort for them to do. It is an extremely overpriced meal for what you get. At the end , they had the nerve to ask if we were going to give them a tip . I gave them a look instead
Came here for a spontaneous dinner on a Friday after getting the urge for Chinese food and not wanting to leave the area. Admittedly the food was reasonably good however this was overshadowed by the unnecessarily exuberant prices and poor service. Upon sitting down we already received scowls for not ordering any wine or other alcoholic beverage. The waiter failed to produce a smile throughout the entire serving. I was amazed at such high prices for a suburban restaurant frankly in the middle of nowhere, this gives nothing but an impression of arrogance when coupled with the lack of quality service. My experience was not satisfactory and I will not be back.
Had lunch here yesterday, started with the yum cha, after 2 cold (supposed to be hot) dishes were served and one average chicken dish, we decided to change to the banquet. And I can honestly say every single dish was disappointing.
There wasn’t much flavour to any of the dishes, the pork dumpling was rock hard, presentation was average, service was average and for the price, I expected such a higher quality of food. Even some of the banquet dishes came out luke warm.
Very disappointed and what a waste of $130 just for lunch. I might also mention they charge you an extra $2.50 for using eftpos! Will never be coming back here and if I could give it zero stars I would.
Nice food but quite expensive. Love the lemon chicken and sweet and sour pork. Never soggy or oily. The special fried rice is great. Service is good and pickup is always 10mins
Spent a very enjoyable evening with family to celebrate our son’s birthday at Noble House. The food and service was extremely good and would highly recommend it to friends.
