About
Joining the league of Bridge Road hotspots, Academy Kitchen & Bar is the latest culinary venture of accomplished Chef and owner, Will Manning. Exposed brick walls, lofty ceilings and rich timbers make for a classy, yet casual venue with a soft glow of light creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. A selective wine list is served by the glass alongside local beers, unique cocktail list and aromatic coffee by specialty roaster, Seven Seeds. The locally sourced menu features old favourites with a twist. And for those who can't decide, Academy has introduced a chef's selection dinner option, where patrons are guided through four courses for $50 per person. Happy hour runs from 4pm - 6pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Academy Kitchen and & Bar is open from 12pm to late Tuesday to Friday and 9am to 11pm Saturday and Sunday.Details

Had a pleasant meal it was quiet as it was a Tuesday nice setting and staff very friendly we didn’t have to wait long and it was our last night so we would have returned if we had found it earlier.
Funky and clean and extremely friendly staff! The food was also very healthy and nicely presented and the portions were just right. Nice blues music as well! Great and comfortable place to meet friends.
We dined here as a group of six for dinner. Food was lovely, service was attentive and prices were reasonable. Cosy atmosphere. Only suggestions is meals could be served on warm places as they weren’t hot enough.
Excellent food , wine and coffee-only small gripe , there is a continual rotation of front of house staff ( always a bit disconcerting for regulars)however they are always very professional , some defiantly friendlier than others .latest manager not as friendly .
