Ive had this place bookmarked for a long time now so i called into this cafe to get what else, a milkshake hahaha
And looking behind the counter I was really excited to see the old school milkshake tins. Woo hoo perfect!
I ordered a chocolate milkshake, and when it arrived it was almost full to the top… wow!!! The milkshake tin was really cold, yes yes and then, OMGosh, the milk was luke warm!!
No no no, was my initial reaction. A milkshake MUST have cold milk, especially on a warm day, or it ruins the whole experience.
I really wanted to ask for more ice cream in the milkshake but I didnt want to make a fuss.
The owner was so enthusiastic about making an old school milkshake from scratch and I had to be somewhere otherwise Id have told him in person.
Little things make a big difference and I when it comes to a milkshake, an old school milkshake, youve gotta get it right!
The food looked awesome but I didnt eat when I was there. Overall this was a really nice cafe and Id definitely go back and when I do Ill be very specific about my next milkshake hahaha… just cold milk in a cold tin please.
