Lizzies first impression: It was pretty quiet on a Sunday arvo but dont let that fool you about the quality of the food – German food here was spot on!

Lizzie enjoyed: the sausages were so tasty and had so much flavour. The pork hock was on another level – it was cooked perfectly with the crackling still crunchy but the meat just as tender. The potatoes at the bottom of the tray must be cooked in the meats fat as it tasted delicious! I also highly recommend the fries here too with the spicy mayo sauce. The desserts were also amazing – the warm apple strudel and the mohr Im hemd (flourless chocolate almond pudding) was something else!

Lizzie did not enjoy: I would prefer some apple sauce to match the pork hock instead of all the sauerkraut on the dish

Lizzie rates overall: A surprisingly great meal and worth every dollar I paid.

Sat down out the front on the street on a beautiful night hoping to have a beer and eat, but was told the outdoor area was for smokers and we couldnt eat, only inside, absolute joke! Had 1 beer and left to eat outside elsewhere. Service wasnt great in that short time either. Shame as always wanted to go there but wont bother

Pork schnitzel and the pretzels were ace. Curry ketchup goes well too. Had to drive so couldnt have any beers. Heres a doppelbock calling my name so Ive got to go back.
