It was by pure coincidence that we ended up here for dinner. The original plan fell through, and while walking past, we were seduced by the wonderful smell of the meat wafting out from inside.
A husband and wife, plus son, team run the place, and the service here is as you would expect from a family-run eatery. Warm, personable and very accommodating.
We tried the doner kebabs – a lamb and a chicken each. Surprisingly the chicken was so much more juicer and flavourful than the lamb. The lamb was definitely much meatier, but overall a little bit dry. Too much sauce in some parts was a bit overpowering for me, but my partner liked it.
Turkish bread is used for the doner kebab here, and was lightly toasted to make it crisped. They were also very generous with the veggies and meat, making it an extremely filling and home-cooked type of meal indeed.
I suggest that you grab a seat outside if you plan to eat it, otherwise you will end up smelling like a doner kebab too by the end of the meal.

It was HUGE with heaps of sauce and filling and it filled a spot. Not a place for ambience nor atmosphere I actually thought the Kebab was decent. It’s not the best I’ve ever had but it helped bring me back to life.
