Great spot, heaps of indoor and outdoor seating.
Excellent menu, with lots to choose from. It was hard to make a choice, which is always a good sign.

Salmon gravalax with marinated feta, mashed peas, beetroot relish and two poached eggs was a very generous portion and great balance of flavours. Only recommendation would be more croutons for the ratio of the the other ingredients.

Fried chicken po boys with fries also a great dish. Two sliders and tasty fries with aioli. Also very generous portion.

$60 for two dishes and three coffees, good to try and will be back if in the area.

Love this place. It is my local and I keep coming back. You can try something new and not be disappointed but I love getting my usual and its always good. Quick service and so many dogs out the front… which is just an added bonus. They sometimes make the same meal differently with a different twist but its cool to see what new things they come up with.

Came here for brunch with Vinh on a Sunday! Firstly we sat down and ordered our coffees which were served with dirty spoons! After sending the spoons back we ordered. I got the smashed avo which is $19 without a poach egg. Now this is quite expensive for a smashed avo with no eggs and there is a 10% surcharge on the weekend. I decided to pay extra for some bacon and was excited for a delicious breakfast! Vinh ordered the baked eggs. again this is $20 with none of your baked eggs favourites like cheese or chorizo unless you want to again pay more.
The baked eggs were quite sweet and not the same without chorizo but still okay. My smashed avo had barely any feta cheese. How ridiculous for $20 to skimp on the feta cheese. If it didnt come with a beetroot pure it would have been completely flavourless. Also my bread was so hard to cut i had to pick it up with my hands. This place is a massive rip off for the price you pay considering they skimp on every single ingredient. Wont be back.
    Save your money.

Looking for perhaps Melbournes best french toast? Take a trip to @friendsofminecafe Im giving my votes to this brunch spot. Great vibe sitting outside with their early 2000 playbacks, Vanessa Carlton made it in there and the rest was history . The lady that served us was fantastic, personable and had a few laughs with us. If theres one thing youll notice about my mini blogs, its that service changes everything for me. Thanks for having us! .

+ Great friendly service, delicious food – french toast amazing, laid back enjoyable ambiance
    – Inside seating a bit average, bit of a wait when busy

Friends of Mine is a cosy and homey cafe, with a lovely outdoor setting as well. The food is not over the top but very delicious – my personal favourite is the shashuka baked eggs and my partner loves the hangover (cheesy toast with bacon and the works). However theyve recently added a 10% charge on weekends plus a surcharge with credit card payments which is a bit of a nuisance.

Friends of Mine served delicious brunch meals and coffee. Weve tried a few things from this place, eggs Benedict was my favourite. Salmon gravlax was pretty good too but fried chicken Po boys was rather tasteless. Coffee was great, and I loved how there was always fresh flowers on each table!
