I remember when this space was called New York Tomato, and I sat upstairs one winter’s morning while traversing Richmond, in search of the suburbs best café. Almost a decade on, and I’m here visiting what is now a café that’s been named after the Galtee mountains, which owner Annette O’Donnell looked out onto while growing up in Ireland.  She now overlooks the dog friendly cafes operations, and offers a homely vibe with every dish. The French Roast is an absolute must for anyone with a sweet tooth! All eyes on it, including the art work in the front courtyard.Â
Beautiful setting. The light & sun stream through during lunch. Service is warm, friendly & accomadating. Coffee was St Ali & I was impressed. Big win on the broccoli soup of the day –Â flavoursome nourishing. Chilli Scramble was good, but maybe a few veggies, such as mushrooms could have given it a bit more of a flavour punch.
