After a disappointing dinner at Future Future, a friend suggested we walk to Maedaya for more drinks and snacks. I was immediately impressed by this venue. Drinks are so cheap! I got a bottle of sake for $9 compared to a $14 non authentic sake I got from Future Future that was only 100ml!
I loved how convenient the ordering system is. The iPads work very well.
Takoyaki was ok, a tiny bit harder than usual but o really liked the drinks and the atmosphere at Maedaya.

It was so good > you cant stop ordering from the tablet > yet a bit pricey! I think my cousin, my cousins boyfriend and i spent almost $20 per/person including drinks! Had my first the warm sake, the light and creamy one couldnt remember the name but its nice.
One of the best Japanese restaurants if youre looking for contemporary Japanese food in Melbourne. In the many times Ive been here, the quality of food has always been superb and surprisingly not too hard on the wallet. Apart from the food, the place has great atmosphere, good choice of music, and good service.
