Mister Minh is Asian fusion style at reasonable prices! What a great find with friendly staff and of course, excellent food.
What we ordered: For entree we shared the salt and pepper tofu, and Chicken rice paper rolls. While for mains we ordered the Thit Kho (braised pork belly), Char Keoy Teow (w/ calamari & chicken) and roti bread.
The salt and pepper tofu comes surrounded by a fresh mix of onion & capsicum which provides an almost tangy flavour to the dish – this entree is a must. Chicken rice paper rolls were also a good choice. The Thit Kho was 5/5, tender meat excelling in flavour while the Char Kepy Teow was delicious! As for the roti bread, it was different as it was more a puff pasty but still matched well with the spicy satay sauce.
We will be back!
Food was alright. But definitely overpriced. And staff was not the friendliest bunch. During my first visit they messed up my friend’s order and they were not apologetic but insisted that it was the order that was given. And they literally put on an angry face. During my second visit the place was full and they dont even bother giving me a solution. They literally gave me a statement that made me feel like they are shooing me away. Business was good but they definitely should not take things for granted and should treat all customer well before business starts going downhill due to poor customer service
It was a cold night and it was time for some home delivery. We found Mister Minh and impressed with their menu and prices we ordered the following.
A combination curry laska which was absolutely fantastic. Full of flavour, with fresh prawns, chicken and other goodies, just perfect!
4 duck rice paper rolls, which were fresh and full of flavour.
A vegetarian fried rice full of nice veggies and fresh.
4 home made Dim Sims, and to be honest Ive never really been a huge fan of Dim Sims, until now. They were sooo fresh, not dense, nice meat inside and the wonton wrapping was perfect. They were packed with flavour.
And to finish off we had THE best Mister Minhs chicken wings, which were full of meat and the batter was crispy, lightly crunchy… WOW!
I was sooo impressed with this food that if I wasnt going out for dinner tonight, Id definitely order exactly the same dishes again hahaha
This place is a must visit.

Ive been ordering takeaway from this place for a while now so it was about time that I paid this restaurant a visit. Overall, I was happy with the level of service and staff are relatively attentive and cheerful. The spacious interior is quite dark due to the black-coloured walls, but the atmosphere is well balanced thanks to the numerous amount of lights. The food we ordered was simply delicious so we will be back again for some more. (If youre tossing between any of the noodle soups or roast duck, go for the roast duck! The table next to us didnt seem too happy about their pho and said they wished they had chosen our food)
UPDATED 9/9/2018:
I came back here with my family. This time I realised two things Firstly, the menu should include some Vietnamese words alongside the English content (seeing as its a Vietnamese restaurant and its in Richmond – where theres a big Vietnamese community base). Next, staff need to be a little friendlier and give us time to make our orders. It took the fun out of our experience. Its ones thing to be attentive but another thing to stand around us with an unfriendly face, waiting for us to order. That aside, the food is still nice. We tried some new dishes including the salt & pepper tofu (which was very tasty), the rare cooked beef & lemonade salad (which was too sweet) and the crispy pork belly (average). Still, you cant go wrong with those fried chicken wings and roast pork!
Wow…..not the room I was expecting after Minh’s first restaurant. We did the ‘Bring it on’ a great social dining experience with simple tasty food. On return I’d love to try a la carte.
