Upon arrival there is a strange smell inside which put me off alittle bit. Bean sprout doesnt look quite fresh. Order the sliced beef and brisket, soup base taste with msg not that impress at all. Only highlight is the pickle onion which surprising good.

Great pho joint that have clean flavourful broth. The broth is deep in flavour but light at the same time, perfect to eat anytime of the day. They also have pickled onion on each tables which you rarely see in other pho restaurants.

Always busy and good . I have been here for a few times and have always ordered the Beef Pho. Today I tried the Chicken Pho and it was just as good!

Having been to a few of the other well-know authentic pho places in Richmond, I was very keen to give this place a go. The first most noticeable thing was that compared to some of the other restaurants, their menu is quite limited in variety. Nonetheless, with high expectations we ordered the special beef pho, special chicken pho, and a dish of pork springrolls… and our expectations were met.
The phos were packed full of delicious meat, the broth was deep, clean and flavourful, and the noodles were soft and super silky but still had that nice elasticity and chew to them!
Though small, the springrolls were crispy, crunchy, and packed full of pork and flavour. Just wish the springrolls were bigger or there were a few more of them to balance out the size and amount of the lovely fresh lettuce provided! I ended up ripping up the lettuce to better fit the rolls, and dipping the leftover lettuce in the sauce to finish them (which was still tasty)!
The waitress had some difficulty understanding our order, repeatedly asking us for our pho size and full order… but food came out quickly, and the complimentary hot tea was lovely.
    Would definitely come again!

Stopped here for lunch with a friend today. The place wasn’t very crowded, and ambience was a bit dark but comfortable.

I ordered a small rare beef pho and he ordered the large special beef pho, which comes with a combination of brisket, tendon, beef balls and other parts. I originally thought prices were a bit steep ($11/$13/$16 for S/M/L) but the large portion was huge. Good amount of meat to compliment the large amount of noodles. The small was sufficient for me. Taste of the soup and beef was good but nothing spectacular. The rare beef was clumped and I prefer if they weren’t thrown in in clumps. The rice noodles I felt was more springy than other pho places, and quite a delight to eat.

The food came out very quickly (probably a couple of minutes). One concern I have about cleanliness is that there were quite a few flies around on the utensils on the table and I saw some land on other people’s food as well. So I’m not sure how clean the place is. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Pho chu the at Richmond. It is definitely a 4.5 experience to me. First of all 3 color drink is nice and fresh. Then the noodle soup are also tasty. My favourite is always Pho Dzung and this one is so close on the broth but more generous with the beef provided. Chicken and beef combination seems a popular choice and highly recommended for this place.
