After walking down bridge road past many overpriced and empty Thai restaurants I was relieved to see Thai Corners affordable menu and nice atmosphere. Very nice Thai food, probably the best on bridge road.
Thai Corner is well positioned on Bridge Road Richmond. Like the outdoor seating on a warm summer night. The interior is spacious and comfortable. Service is prompt, polite and warm. Staff make you feel at home which is a good sign.
All the favourites are on the menu to take us back to Thailand. The green curry is fresh, tasty and has authentic flavours and spice….liked the heat. Spring rolls were excellent and went down well with a Thai beer.
Overall a pleasant relaxed experience, which I enjoyed and will be back for more. Better than my poor fancy pizza experience on Bridge Rd not long ago that was reviewed.
This place has brought me back to Richmond and I hope to return, many more times…cheers to all.
The food here is what you would expect from a Thai restaurant, nothing outstanding but good tasty food. The Coconut Juice (water) is refreshing and good value at $4. The fish cakes are great and had the chewy texture I expected and even though the Chicken Green Curry was nice and hot, it lacked the strong fragrance from the Thai basil that I long for. The Vegetarian Pad Thai had lots of delicious veggies and was a nice combination when combined with the hot green curry. Good night but The food seems to be a little overpriced as curries are $19.
