Always walk past this place thinking it looks super cute and boy, is it. Love the casual and homey dining vibe where you’re left alone until you ring a bell to order, but given a basket of prawn chips and satay to munch on while you decide. Took a while to pick, but finally settled on my go-to: veg fried rice, roti and curry (north Thai style). Veggies were very large and the same in both dishes. Lightly cooked so they maintained a bit of crunch. The curry featured pineapple, an interesting and welcome addition. Both also had tofu, pan fried as opposed to deep fried or raw/steamed, which is far superior. Roti wasn’t oily in the slightest, which was also appreciated, although a slather of satay is my recommended alternative.
