Food was great value and tasted good. I did want a bento box but I’m allergic to egg and the side included with the bento box had egg in it. The service could be better, would have been nice if the guy serving suggested to swap out the egg item for something else. The ambience was okay, no music and feels very much like a cafe for a quick bite. I’d go again at lunchtime but not for dinner.
This sushi spot has been around for over a decade and used to be some of the best sushi in Richmond. It is still run by the same owners, but has decayed in both service and quality.
The ambience and service was hostile (no music just the boss arguing with the girl behind the counter), the sushi rolls had far too much mayo, and the okonomiyaki was reheated in the microwave and really was totally inedible, I could only have a bite. A sad place.
