I called in here for brunch. This cafe is near the Molly Meldrum statue so I stopped to have a look. Ive read reviews about this place and I expected a good brunch at a cafe in Richmond.
When I saw the cheap white focaccia in the kitchen display I knew I shouldn’t have ordered food but I was hungry.
I ordered eggs benny which was poached eggs on toast, w ham cheese and hollandaise sauce on toast
When my eggs benny hit the table at first I thought the waitress was joking. The white bread looked like it was from a supermarket and it didnt taste much better. The bread wasnt toasted.
There was no cheese on w the eggs benny, although it was on the menu. The ham wasnt good, the hollandaise sauce tasted acidic or slightly sour. And it was really unpleasant to taste.
This is the worst eggs benny that Ive ever eaten. And for $14 too!
