Ive been there and tried all you can eat. I was extremely satisfied and enjoyed . Because its just only $39. Good price and good enough foods. And I think here is always busiest place then other restaurants in this area. We were happy to be patient sometimes because staffs were trying to serve quicker and working well, made customers happy I could see. I would love to come back and recommend.
I would give this restaurant a 1.5 star. Most all you can eat is about quantity over quality and I completely get that. But the quality should some what be decent right? The meat here is absolute rubbish. Whats worst is that what was shown on the photo on menu did not look anything like the real thing. The meat on menu looks extremely marbled with a great amount of fat however what we got was chewy hard flavourless beef.
Anyways, lets start from the beginning. We were seated upstairs from their well known Japanese restaurant Maedaya. What I liked about this restaurant was that the table was huge. They had portable grills. So we ordered the all you can eat option for $38pp (90minutes). We ordered from the iPad and thats when things went downhill. Firstly, on the menu it says on the platter, meat will be served automatically within 5 minutes. Wrong! The meat hit the table within 15-20 minutes. The meat was sickening and I kind of regret ordering more. Before receiving the meat, we got takoyaki which was standard. Nothing special. Tbh I feel like all takoyaki taste the same from most Japanese restaurants. Same supplier?. Next we had the bao. I actually really enjoyed the bao. The meat in the wagyu bao was pretty chewy however the bao itself was soft and sweet. The miso soup was extremely bland. My favourite thing was the sashimi roll which took so long to come out. I also ordered the sashimi and it took an hour to come out.. Also, the menu is highly deceiving, it says 9 pieces but we only received 5 pieces??????? I wanted to test if they do this on purpose, waited things out so we can just give up and leave so I ordered the sashimi again (knowing well probably not receive it) and I was right, we never received it. We also ordered ice cream and that come out in 5 minutes before the pork belly was served. We ordered two pork bellies and only received one. By the end of it, we just gave up. Our food wasnt going to come. We looked around and other people were also waiting for their food – all you can eat tactic.
I requested our bill at the end and no one came to our table. So we called the waitress to come and she went to get our bill. SIKEEEE… she went to the back for 5 minutes and came out to serve table and we were confused by then. We waited another 5 minutes and my partner asked how do we pay… like was anyone gonna help??? She then said, you can pay downstairs… HELLO. Why did you not tell us this earlier.
Anyways, would not be coming back.
