On Monday 19th December 2016 I went there with my Mum for Lunch and I had a Fettuccini Carbonara with Ham and a glass of Raspberry Lemonade. My Mum had the Lamb and Rosemary Twirl Pie. She also had a Skinny Cappuccino and glass of water. For Dessert I had a Baked New York Cheesecake with a Soy Hot Chocolate. Marc thought the cream was off in the Fettuccini Carbonara because it made me sick so I will be spreading the word to make sure nobody goes back there. Also the next day they refunded me $20 for the Fettuccini Carbonara, which was extremely nice of them to do that for me.

Came here on the weekend with my partner for a casual lunch. Immediately we noticed the relaxed atmosphere and were welcome to sit wherever we wanted. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a garlic bread Parma and fettuccini carbonara. The food was very nice and we enjoyed our time here we will come back

Went to dinner the other night, for a friend’s birthday.

We were told there would be a 30min wait, which was fine – it was a fairly busy evening. Our meals came out at the same time (table of 5) which was great, although our entrees came out the same time as our mains, therefore going largely uneaten.

My lamb and walnut salad was pretty great: huge generous medium-rare pieces of lamb. Very tender and juicy, on a lightly dressed salad.

Unfortunately i didnt get to even eat half, because whilst i was turned chatting to my friend, a waitress cleared my plate out from under me, and disappeared so fast i couldnt call out to her.

Oh well. If i end up eating there again, i’ll be sure to guard my plate better.

A very disappointing meal overall. We were with a party of 7, and most of the meals were well under standard of what we expected. We have dined here before and had ‘just average’ meals but last night was terrible. Most of us ordered Fillet Steak. Now I know Fillet Steak is a small portion of beef, but these were the size of a tennis ball. The ones that were ordered as ‘medium to well done’ arrived at the table as if they had just been cremated, extremely dry and overdone. At an asking price of $38? What a joke. Won’t be back in a hurry that’s for sure, if at all.

The Parma is good. Don’t stray from the basics though. I have been dragged along to the Ringwood club by family who like a simple meal a few times. The times I have ordered a Parma and chips I have not been disappointed but last visit I thought I would try something a little exotic and ordered the Moroccan lamb. Big mistake. The lamb was well overdone with no kind of dressing/marinade/sauce with a side of Cous Cous that was so Bland and still held the shape of the microwave container I suspect it came out of. Not to mention I waited over an hour for my meal!

While the service is alright, I always feel rushed by the staff like they are overwhelmed with bookings and don’t have time for you. I let it go once Coz I thought it must have been busy but it has happened several times.

Overall I think it is a bit of a rip off for what you get. I paid $27 for the Moroccan lamb and I of I had a choice I would have paid $10 for the quality I received.

It’s a great place for a Parma and to take the family but ultimately I would rather go to a cafe down the road for lunch instead – cheaper and much better food!

11 of us, spent over $350. 3 undercooked parmas, 1 sent back, never saw it again. Rissotto rice was crunchy & unedible, extra crispy bacon was limp. Asked for a refund on 3 meals was flatly refused. When asked for a take away container was refused. When I went to take food home (to give to health dept), was thrown out by manager & security. We have been going there since the place opened & it’s been on a downhill slide for the past 3 years
One of my kids was throwing up at 3.30 this morning, no prizes for guessing why

Every Friday there is a fish special and I had the Mirror Dory dish and it was to die for – beautifully flaking fish and delicious veggies – could not fault it. What a fantastic pub! The specials at club ringwood are always amazing and every time I have been the customer service has been fantastic. Would definitely recommend this pub!
