Update: came here again for the 2017 Grandfinal. They have now partitioned most of the outside off now and you cant eat in front of the big screen… only drink and smoke. There was a small afterthought of a section at the back for eating with the smallest of tvs and only a handful of tables. Sitting outside by the big screen was like pub life from the 80s & 90s all over again. Stinky bloody smokers. We could nearly see the screen for smoke. Owner of this venue must be a smoker because there is no way this current set up makes sense. It stinks!!! Let us dine by the big screen outside and send the smoker off to puff their vile cancer sticks elsewhere. We will be eating and drinking elsewhere for the 2018 GF.

Have been to The Manhattan Lager bar on several occasions to watch footy in the big screen and have ordered food off the bar snacks menu. I recommend you steer clear of the $10 Parma special and just stick with the items on the snack menu. I repeat no good can come from the $10 Parma. That said I have tried plenty of other items on the menu and they are ok. I had the roast of the day, souvlaki, chips and wedges in various guises. I’ve even had the parmas from the menu and that was ok. The bar itself is well stocked and there are often beer specials. They have a lot of sport covered here so if you need to see a game other than AFL, which is everywhere, there is a good chance it will be on here. They do of course have virtually every game of afl covered also.

Made our way here for trivia and parma tuesdays. As expected the food was stock standard which for the price you would take on board and that is certainly what we did. Not a bad night out with a few mates if looking for something cheap and a bit different.

You really can’t expect too much from an ‘All You Can Eat’ Venue.

Feast, (a chain of All You Can Eat restaurants across Melbourne), is adequate at best for large groups or hungry families. If you’re not super hungry, I would probably skip this dining experience, especially if dining later in the evening where children have already had the opportunity to stick their grimy fingers in all the food.

There are some passable items on the menu including the lasagna, garlic bread, roasts, steamed fish and desserts. I would steer well clear of the fried rice, ‘fresh’ salads and soggy chips.

There’s not much else I can add to this review other than to say that I’ve been there and done that and probably won’t be returning.

There always seems to be lots of broken glass in the Manhattan car park. Today was no exception. There are also the big signs promoting their $8 everyday Parma and pots. So, as you walk inside, dodging around the pool tables, you’re not surprised at the lack of quality in anything on the plate or sitting at a table. The beer garden as usual contained a couple of blokes who have had a big day and a lot of smokers and the ability to watch from your seat, five different sports on different screens plus races from wherever they are racing. The Parma and chips are edible. No one on our table finished the complimentary salad. Can’t think of any reasons to recommend the Manhattan except it’s cheap or if you want to gamble there’s the tab and plenty of pokies. Definitely not for the faint hearted.

Went on Members Lunch happening every 1st Tuesday of the month, buy 1 get 1 free ($22 for 2 pax). The long queues to pay and enter coupled with the longer queues for food were very deceiving. There wete just so many seniors there ($17 for 2pax for seniors). The selection of buffet on offer was alright -beef roast(this is very tender), lamb, pork with no crackling, salad bowls empty that needed faster replenishment, fried tough calamari, fried fish bites, steamed basa….looks good….BUT!!! I am still so thirsty even at 9pm now when I had lunch there many hours ago. How much msg did they put in the food?Super thirsty!!!I wont be back, even if it is $11 per pax cos it is simply not worth it.

Horrible food very disappointed. Dined here tonight with family after a recommendation. All I can say is terrible. We arrived upon opening 5:30pm Everyone at my table complained how dry the roast meats were. Not one positive thing about this place save your money an eat elsewhere

What a feast. I ate here with friends and family and was amazed by the fabulous selection of food on offer. So many different choices suitable for all tastes.
The sweets servery is to die for and the kids loved the help your self soft serve ice cream machine.
They also had fantastic kids free entertainment on. We joined their Club 4 Kids for our children which offers some great incentives to come back.
    We will definitely be back.
