Personally I would give this place 2.5 as I am Not a big fan of the food here. But the quality of the food is good and in decent prices. The cookies on display looks pretty good, but I wouldn’t sure if it was open as I didn’t see any staff there during the time I came.
By the end of the day there isn’t much stock left which shows how popular this place is. Staff are lovely and friendly. I always find the cookies a little dry myself. There are other things you can buy here such as Croissants and roles. Breakfast offers are appealing too. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and stroller accessible. Good parking up to 3 hours free.
Mrs. Fields is always my staple cafe whenever I go to Eastland. I’ve been to almost all the cafes in the shopping centre, but nothing hits quite like home than here. The staff are friendly, with the occasional quiet one who looks like they want to go home (I don’t blame them, I work in hospitality too!) They almost always offer you a free cookie sample, which I think is a really great idea. The sample portions are quite generous and are always delicious. The coffee is cheap, so you would assume it would be pretty average, but it’s actually quite good! This is coming from someone who generally doesn’t like coffee. The baristas know their stuff. I haven’t tried a lot of their foods, because I’m ALWAYS getting their banana bread (toasted with butter of course!) it’s one of, if not THE best in Eastland. Lightly crispy on top and melty-soft on the inside.Overall it’s a very homely cafe, a place you can tuck yourself into and zone out for awhile. The only thing I would suggest is to maybe add some form of decoration, greenery seems to be the rave at the moment. It would really make the place pop.
Wow, not the usual experience these type of chain cafes. The staff were excellent, as was the coffee and cookies.I normally like to keep it short and to the point, but I’ll give a little rave for these guys. There was an elderly gentleman next to us who accidentally knocked the sugar packets from his table all over the floor. The young attendant was over in a moment to tidy up and suggested that is was his error, so older man would feel less embarrassed. I ordered a long black and the barista was over soon after to make sure it was ok and was offering to remake if I was unhappy with it for any reason. But there no need as it was already good.It is great to feel like a valued customer and not just another task to be completed. Thanks guys
