    Nice venue, but most wouldnt know its there. Casual staff that dont have any knowledge of table service was a let down.
    Basic menu but reasonable food. Having temp chefs who deviate from the description of the food doesnt help. Some over cooked chicken which was politely removed from the bill. Be happy to go back once they have an established chef in place. Got potential.

    We came here last night for our Wedding Anniversary. The staff were lovely. Jenny our waitress was worth her weight in gold and is a real asset to Partake and the Sage Hotel. She was friendly and professional, checking on us but not intruding on our privacy. It was nice that she took the time to talk to us as it made us connect with the restaurant more.
    We had mains and dessert with drinks and cost $120. I had Chicken meal. It was well presented. The chicken was tender and tasty, the pumpkin stuffing a nice original touch. The veggies were fresh and also tasty. The chicken is served with a red wine jus, which I thought was an unusual choice for chicken, but it worked well. My husband had the Slow Roasted Pork Belly with red cabbage and salad. Although also tender, it was dry and we got the feeling it was microwaved and then popped under a grill. It was served with minimal apple sauce drizzle on the plate. It could have had more to make the pork more enjoyable.
    The desserts were ok. We ordered two that were made at Partake. Many desserts are delivered. I had the Creme Brle compote with black cherry and pear’. It was very nice although I thought the six blueberries on top were a bit minimalist. I also failed to see where the black cherry and pear compote was! Overall, presentation and ingredients disappointing for the price. My husband had the homemade Blueberry Cheescake with double cream and a berry mint salad. It was not the traditional presentation but it was ok. The menu stated that it was served with ‘Berry and mint salad’. We also failed to see where that was in the dish. Partake really need to improve the desserts.
    Overall though, we found the experience relaxing and enjoyable. We would come again to try out the barramundi and grill menu.
