Such a stunning, relaxing venue. The interior has been decorated beautifully with lovely furnishings and artwork. Claire our waitress was so attentive and friendly. Coffee was nice and we all enjoyed our meals. The croissant French toast was delicious and had a great combination of flavors and textures. Will definitely be back!
Absolutely love this place. Makes me feel like I am in Daylesford. The food and service is excellent! Have been there quite a few times. Only negative was that I ordered a serve of scones and was slightly disappointed with the pricing. 2 small scones with small jar of jam and cream for $11.90 which is expensive given their croissant with ham and cheese is only $9.90.
The place is very nice but that’s about it! I have never left a restaurant feeling ripped off. Never had such horrible seafood in any restaurant not even in fish chip shop. The fish felt like defrosted and cooked with no salt. I have to add lots of salt and pepper. The waiting time between courses are terribly long. It’s a shame for such beautiful ambience. Seriously, change a chef or you will never have any return customers!
Went there for BF birthday with family, very disappointed with food, very brand and cold. However  my most disappointment was with customer service, very arrogant rude snobby uncourteous blonde lady at reception.  No professional welcome or friendly hospitality. I was asking if it is possible to have meal inside. I then was told the place is full in a very rude manner and ignorant. “ I told you on the phone “ she added. No wanting to say anything much more and didn’t really care. As far as I can see the place was half empty. Inside still few tables unoccupied and no reserved sign on. If they were booked out, a good customer service would at least spend little time explain that they have been booked and in a more polite manner. At least given us an option to leave when they need table. but . She just simply did not care.  This can easily be solved if she has customer service skill and better attitude. I would acce that if she has shown she tried her best.  I simply would not recommend this place. Food is ok. Cakes are terrible ( went earlier that week for afternoon tea). Only the Decor is very lovely that why I was goi back. But this sonny rude blonde just killed it. I wont go back.  I have toD my friends of how lovely the place looks.  But now I am going back to tell them “ don’t waste your time coming for bad experience.  Not worth it. And if you notice. Manager don’t even care replying on any comments .  Obviously no one really care what customers think
We’ve been several times to the restaurant. Food and service have always been fantastic. They are opening a courtyard cafe in a couple of weeks so looking forward to that. The space looks charming.
