Despite the fact that you need to pay extra for condiments and also to get grilled fish, it was worth the fish it was really good and nicely seasoned.
Was served by a young girl who looked about 12 or 13 (illegal?????) who was working entirely on her own. Before even getting to the food, I am deeply concerned a child that young should be handling hot oil and grills completely unsupervised?
We were told a 10 minute wait on our food, but ended up waiting over half an hour.
When we received our food (souvlaki, burger, fish and chips) we were not given any chips. I came back in and said we were not given our chips. The young girl was very apologetic however she had to then put chips on to cook. In waiting for the chips to be cooked, the rest of our food went cold. We were not offered a refund on either the chips or the rest of the food. I do feel very sorry for the poor girl working there and can’t help but wonder if it is a family run business making her work cheaply.
I just called in today for a fried flake.
Normally the fish is white, crispy and golden brown batter.
Today my flake was inedible, pale grey and smelled of old fish, the batter was soggy and uncooked under the soggy exterior.
I could not eat the fish, never again.
Serve only the best, do not cheap yourselves out of this competitive industry.

Tasty and fresh food although the chicken salt is very, very sweet. Clean store. Enjoyed the potato cakes most! Would return if I was in the area.
I have been coming here for years and will never be coming back, the food used to be fresh and tasty and good quality. This has changed in the last few months. i tried it again after the last time i went my flake had cartridge in it and then when i went back my fish was raw in the middle and smelt off as well as my salad having mushy tomato and had obviously been sitting for there for god knows how long. I used to recommend this place to my friends but the hygiene and quality of food are now so appalling i would never do so again.
Top fish and chip eatery staff are always pleasent and food always fresh and tasty you walk into the shop and always greeted with a smile and they always seem to remember who you are thumbs up will recommend to everyone
Service is always great, nice and friendly, food always ready within reasonable time, have been going for many years and will continue too. Food is cooked great.
