Had the New Year party here today. The food was great and the staff very friendly. We were here 2 years ago.. it was also great then However this time the place lacked atmosphere . The band was lifeless. It was same beat , same harmony regardless of the music style .All in all , a good evening but needs a bit more of the “ country spirit “.
Rutherglen is well known for its wines, but we decided to stop over for a bite. And boy, were we in for a treat. Tuileries is located in a quaint part of Rutherglen and we found a delightful cafe located in the back of this estate.We started the meal with some crispy, delicious garlic bread. We then settled into a nice spaghetti bolognese and some seafood noodle dish which was exquisite and colourful.I would highly recommend checking out this place if you are in Rutherglen and looking for a nice, affordable meal!
Overall good value for money but nothing special. Understaffed when we went, so had to wait over an hour for our entree.
Cafe here is absolutely appalling. Terribly rude staff. Bland mediocre food. Terrible experience over all. Will never recommend or return.
