A nice local bistro venue with large seating and space. As per most pubs and bistros, it is a queue-to-order service, with an open salad and vegetable baymerie with a large variety. There is also a separate bar to order drinks from.The menu is quite large and covers most of the basics, we ordered the bruschetta and spicy chicken wings for an entree and I had the filet mignon served with chips as the main.The chicken was about a medium level spicy with a really nice dipping sauce, the bruschetta was served as 4 large slices and was also very nice. The steak was cooked really was with the bacon wrapped around it and it had good portion of chips and a rich flavoursome gravy but the salad bar is a really good feature as you can enjoy a selection of veggies and salads to accompany your main. For a value meal, the Lakeside Club is a solid option!
