Stopped in and had lunch here. Had the pork belly and lamb chops. Excellently cooked, and sides were basic but delicious. Nothing fancy about the interior, just a kitchen and sitting area, but we watched as the chef carefully seasons and cooked our meat over the coals. Would 100% return again. The locals must do, as we saw several drop in to pick up their orders.
Great little take away place, my favourite is the steak with eggs and fries. The food is wonderful, full of flavor and always great quality. Its a wonderful little place, and the staff are mega friendly.
The greatest and most authentic Portugese grill I’ve had. Not only is the food cooked quick but it has a great home cooked taste, good value and great staff along with it. I urge everyone to give a try, whether a meat lover, spice lover of just general chicken lover.
Whilst being in sale for work, this was another takeaway option I tried out when I was looking for a chicken dinner that wasn’t KFC.Santos is the equivalent to Nandos in Sale! I have tried a few of the meals they offer including the signature half Portuguese chicken with flavoured rice and salad, the chicken burger and chips meal and also the lamb skewers with chips and salad. The best dish is easily the moist, tender, succulent grilled chicken with its distinct marinate and smoke grill flavour, it’s the best takeaway chicken option in sale. The lamb skewers are also a good option, they look small but are actually full of meat and flavour. The couple running the shop are very friendly, always smiling and provide great service. The minor criticism that I have is the portion size could be a little bigger and that the menu is quite small and could use a few more meal options but overall santos is a great stop to get your chicken fix!
Great food for the price. Interesting twists on the traditional takeaway chicken joint, easily reccommend for a quick, no fuss lunch or dinner with a good variety of food.
