Ordered a couple of pizzas last night, one from the gourmet section… Parmesan, fresh tomato, Spanish onion and hot salami. I Selected basil as an extra and was very disappointed to get a pizza with minimal torn pieces of basil..$2 extra. I’m a chef at a cafe and understand costs etc but even I thought it was pretty dismal. Then the pizza was covered in that dried off the shelf Parmesan crap. Was like eating sand! I’m not a snob my all means but really!!?? If It’s in the gourmet section i at least expected a few bits of the fresh stuff. Not impressed at all.
Takeaway pizzas were solid! They are not your old school thick crust or the trendy this base – but they fall somewhere in between. Perfect pizza!!
BBQ chicken was my pick and a good old margherita was very tasty. I’ll be back

The best pizza and pasta in Bayside hands down. These guys haven’t messed around in sourcing the freshest ingredients to make the most amazing pizza and pastas.
Unfortunately tonight the gourmet pizza I ordered had barely any mozzarella: all the toppings fell off as there was merely a light sprinkle of cheese and it was very dry, the toppings were burnt however on a good note the garlic pizza was nice. Massive let down, especially for a Saturday night in. Gourmet pizza for 17.90$ – so disappointed.
Superb! My girlfriend and I have been living in Melbourne for over a year now and we’ve finally found incredible pizza, by accident too.
We wandered in about 5.50pm on a Friday and the place was like a well oiled machine.
A proverbial production line of dough rolling, sauce & cheesing, baking and cutting. It was a sight to behold and it gave us every confidence we’d get some amazing pizza.
We were not disappointed! I ordered the Parma and my gf got the Sweet Chili Chicken.
First off, I was kinda sad after I ordered the Parma, realising it implied parma ham, not a chicken parma…how foolhardy of me.
That said, and feelings of despair quickly evaporated when I got my parma pizza.
Covered in fresh rocket and dressed with an incredible balsamic glaze I was more then satisfied. Even when I literally bit off more then I could chew of the prosciutto I wasn’t deterred.
The same can be said of the Sweet Chili Chick(en), when we first opened the box our eyes popped out of our heads! The pieces of chicken were MASSIVE! Almost a thigh a slice, very very happy with that pizza artist.
Also pleasing was, despite the chili sauce resembling a toddlers paddling pool, it wasnt over bearing nor overly sweet. Great balance of flavour and texture.
