Welcomed by warm service on a chilly winter afternoon. Their chicken & mushroom linguine was delightful – well seasoned chicken, generous amount of mushrooms, tasty sauce. Also liked their grilled lamb & pita bread with yogurt & garden salad. The curry eggs were unfortunately not so enjoyable, would have preferred a Thai curry to a Japanese curry.
Had the most delicious lemon and poppyseed muffin with a dash of honey on the side and a lovely hot powder chai latte. Have also eaten breakfast here and the French toast was great too!
It has been a while since i have experienced such good old fashioned SERVICE!! Our first time at the elephant, party of 6, divine coffee, amazing food… had the eggs benedict it came with real ham!! Everuobe loved their food. But the service wow!! Cant wait to go back!
Sensational !!! The friendly, professional and highly efficient welcoming service is just the starting point on how amazing and truly wonderful The Elefant Lounge Cafe truly is. This juices are fresh and leave the tastebuds screaming with joy. Honestly it’s not an easy thing to achieve to do it in the right manner with the flavours that are infused together. The food is heavenly and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long long time. I’ll be returning here again and again as this is my new favourite hotspot in Melbourne. Well done to the chef, staff and also I have to mention the beautiful decor of the venue.
….had an omelette – was hard cooked scrambled eggs, one big piece (not cut up) ham, cheese & then flipped. Not very impressed. Kids pancakes – from Coles, lousy quality & tiny. Kids creamy scrambled eggs – rock hard cooked with a piece of horrible bread. Coffee was good, food so bad we will never come again, sorry guys.
My husband and I come here a lot for breakfast when waking the dog. Fantastic little cafe. Service is great. Portions are large and very tasty. Good coffee too 🙂
I use to walk past this place a lot in the morning. Looked so cute so I had to make time to come here on the weekend heheI enjoyed an orange/apple juice and avocado toast with added mushrooms. The waitress was really cheery, polite and helpful. Put me in a good mood haha
The only down side is not being able to substitute anything on the menu, other than that everything was great 🙂
