Such potential. Beautiful decor. Great location. Menu ok. (Same same). But the service was so outrageously bad and the staff were so disinterested that it made the whole thing a negative experience. We had to ask three times to be served. (Note: it was quite early so not busy). When food finally came they then went for cutlery so we waited while food went cold. We were there for over an hour and our plates weren’t cleared and we weren’t offered another coffee. Staff were just unpleasant. I really hope the owner reads this. We’ve been to Left Field (stunning food and stunning service) and thought this would be similar. Staff need to be urgently trained. There were six of us (each with our own families) and we all agreed that we would never return.
Food: Had the avo on quinoa toast. The capsicum hummus was tasty, but there wasn’t enough of the sundried tomato pesto. Not sure why it wouldn’t come with an egg, and as a result it didn’t really read like a proper meal. In fairness I probably should’ve picked something else. The mushrooms I ordered on the side came in a generous portion. I also liked the turmeric chai latte.Service: Really friendly and on the ball, I decided to wait for a table and the server kept tabs to make sure I hadn’t been forgotten whilst I was waiting.
Ambience: The place was buzzing! The fit out is so lovely, a beautiful light-filled space.
