Used to be better. Chicken was ok. Chips were cold, like they had been sitting there for ages. Salad was inedible. If you have no other option then go here.
I honestly love the chips, chicken and salad here. Not the most upmarket place, but perfect for when you are craving quality fish and chips in the area of Sandringham.
Some things good some things terrible. Chips are good gravy is nice but Greek salad had no dressing. The lamb had no seasoning but it was still ok but came with no tzatziki or garlic sauce. Would of made it enjoyable. Great that they use free range chicken. Slightly concerned that right next to where u sit to wait the fire extinguisher is covered in black dust and looks like something at the back of an untouched warehouse. Would take 5 seconds to wipe down but hasn’t been cleaned in what looks like forever and if that’s in the waiting/dining area on view id hate to see out the back.
It’s not fancy but it does chicken and chips well. Look it mightn’t be fancy – infact its downright dingy but it’s real charcoal chicken with some nice fresh chicken salt smothered chips (sometimes it CAN be a little salty). To be honest there isn’t much charcoal chicken competition around here but its still pretty good at any level. Plus it’s a stone throw from the Sandringham beach area!
Insanely over priced and nothing is edible. Too salty, dry, watery sloppy gravy.never back again.
